When A Cold Wind Blows...Teak Vents Rock!!

When sailing in the early spring and late fall, cold air blowing through our 4 dorade vents often makes the interior chilly. We have used various methods to block the vents, and have come up with a solution that is both elegant and warm. We got the idea from a Morris 48 that we saw at the Newport Boat Show. Jordan DeTuncq at Glebe Creek Screenworks helped us design, and then fabricated, interior vent controls that both solve the problem and enhance the interior appearance of the boat.
