Stern Cabin Shelves in bunk area

We removed the aft stateroom cushions and put 1" cleats on the fore and aft walls 14 1/2" up from the base surface. We also made a removable picture frame type support in the middle. All this supports 2 removable benchtype shelves made from slats. The shelves are held in place by removable brass pins. All wood is made from oiled teak we got a pretty good deal on.
We store all our spares and tools back there now along with the dinghy seats [portabote] and geniker, sewing machin and supplies, safety stuff, electrical cords, laundry. WOW do we have more room. We tried to center up the heavier stuff. I made webbing straps to hold everything down.
This is to prep for a long voyage!!!
