We installed a Kyocera KC-130 over our Kato davits. We purchased the panel from Ham Ferris at the Annapolis boat show, literally walked out of the show with his last 130. After initially purchasing the Xantrex regulator we ultimately exchanged it for a Blue Sky 2512iX. It's only been wired up for two days, but so far it seems great. We're getting 50-60 amp hours per day with the setup.
The panels can be rotated fore and aft, and are mounted only to the Kato stabilizer bar. I wired a quick disconnect plug inline so the panel can be removed for a blow or for security by simply pulling the plug and the two pins that hold the stabilizer bar.
The mounts are 3"x3"x.75" squares cut from starboard, clamped and spaced with a 1.5" hole drilled in the center. I then put some sticky back non-skid between the starboard and the stabilizer bar. The cross pieces are 1/4" aluminum stock that was cut by Tidewater Marine in Havre de Grace, MD. Eight 4" SS hex bolts secure the mounts to the cross pieces.
