Security Door

We built a door to use for "iffy" anchorages all over the world. We made a 1 1/2 x 3/4" frame that fits right into the void where the 3 slide-in doors fit and cut 6/3/8" stainless bars to be held in before gluing and screwing the frame with Kreg system joints. We put a matching hasp on the top to use a combination lock that we can easily undo from inside. The screen doors we made closes over this security door for ventilation. It won't keep anyone out for long but might slow or deter a prowler or cause them to choose another boat and allow us to sleep better.
If you contact us about this give us plenty of time since we are rarely near the internet anymore. We are headed south from Puerto Rico the end of March 06.
