Restoring Our Salon Cushions

We learned from a "Pro" that our old cushions could be saved even though they looked pretty sad. The back cushions are stapled to a plywood form so they were just cleaned with a spray cleaner and vacuumed off. They were in much better shape than the bottom ones. We disassembled the bottom cushions and removed the old batting. Using a clothes steamer we were able to restore the original shape to the foam. We dried them thoroughly by placing them in a room with a dehumidifier for a few days. We then sprayed the foam liberally with Fabreeze, glued on new batting, threw in a few dryer sheets for a clean smell and stuffed everything back into the freshly washed covers.
