Boom preventer installed on Eventyr. Lines on the boom are permanent and have an eye splice on the forward end to attach longer lines that run forward to the bow and then back to the cockpit. With this arrangement the side decks and cabin top are clear of preventer lines unless we are sailing off the wind.
