Our original helm seat needed more than a little TLC. I set out to build a new teak one. I tried to get as many steps as I could in the album to help others who wanted to do the same. I did a little each night after work. I think the total was about 5-6hrs but I wasn't really counting. Not a bad do it yourself project if you need a new helm seat and have a few tools around.
