The stock IP31 came with a two-piece folding nav. desk that converted to a partition. Clever, but we never used it. The original nav. desk was too big and hard to get around. I dismantled the desk and re-attached only the (smaller) top section. This left exposed screw holes, but I applied some wood veneer to mask them. I also needed to make support extensions on the underside as the new 1-piece desk is half as thick as the original.
