Sorting through a few thousand travel pics, I found a couple I could crop to show the windlass install. The boat, currently in Mexico, is unavailable for comment.
The windlass is mounted on a custom teak pad to achieve the correct height and angle for the windlass. I took some dedicated pics of my windless mount. This virtually eliminates castling of the chain with up to 200 feet without below deck attention.
