Monday - May 24, 2004Views: 6334
The Little Shark River, near the SW tip of mainland Florida is a popular overnight anchorage for boats transiting between the Keys and mainland Florida. Bugs are a problem from dusk to a little after dawn: bring screens. To reach the anchorage proceed to the Everglades Boundary Mark at 25°19.993'N, 81°10.641'W, then to Mark 1 at 25°19.359'N, 81°09.242'W, then past Mark 3 and just before reaching Mark 4 there is a popular anchorage in the bend of the river on the north side.
