Life raft stowage

We bought a Winslow 8 man life raft after purchasing the boat. We decided on the soft vacuum sealed valise packaging, and the raft resides in the starboard cockpit locker, and is strapped against the inner bulkhead, where it is completely accessable and yet does not impede further use of that locker. It is their standard packing configuration. It sits on a semi-inflated bumper, which allows it to stay upright and level and keeps it off the bottom of the locker. It is strapped in with quick release gizmos: 1 around the middle holding it to the bulkhead and 1 at the top keeping it upright.
