Ice Box insulation

We added "Reflectix" foil lined bubble wrap to our ice box / refrigeration. This material is available at Home Depot or Lowes stores and is used to insulate air conditioning ducts. We hope this will reduce our electrical usage while on anchor. We have the AB super cold machine and it runs 50% of the time and draws 5 to 6 amps when on, so that equals 60 to 72 amp hrs per 24 hrs. Added Note: 5-1-05 This install seems to save me 25 Amp Hrs a day while living on the anchor. It was well worth it!
