Holding tank replacement

The aluminum holding tank is located under the teak and holly (and fiberglass). It was cut out. Unfortunately, we did not know that the bow thruster battery cable (it was retrofitted by PO) was laid on top of the tank.
A FEIN saw was used to cut thru the flooring. We were able to salvage the flooring and it will be trimmed out in the Fall, at de-commissioning time.
We contacted IP and got some drawings of the tank location and size. Steve from Steve's Boat Repair in Appanoug, RI did a great job of cutting out the tank and salvaging the teak and holly and fabricating a new, replacement fiberglass tank! It should never leak again!
We decided NOT to go with aluminum since 1) that is what failed 2) delivery time from factory was about 3 weeks or more (we had total job done in 3 weeks). We did not go with polyethylene since we were quoted 3 weeks for that to be fabricated, as well.
We can provide measurements, should you need them.
