These photos show installation of a Raytheon SL-72 pathfinder radar at the helm, mounted in an Edson Pod. The radome was mounted on a pole on the port side stern deck.The wiring shows both a fused wiring junction box (which supplies all pedestal electrics) as well as a smaller NMEA junction strip. The lower pod contains a Raytheon flux gate compass, and a high water bilge alarm. The pedestal was made by replaceing the standard pedestal with a 58 inch Edson pedestal, which was then cut down about six inches.
