Gooseneck Cotter Pin

This is apictureof the pi I removed from the gooseneck of My IP380-109. It is very heaviky distorted and was close to fracturing - 1 more gybe?

I have replaced it with a 12mm (1/2") bolt and nut with a cotter pin through the nut
