Another take on a filter restriction gauge. This gauge has a drag pointer so that I can check the gauge anytime (like back at the dock with the boat level and the engine room cool. The red needle will remain at the highest level of vacuum pulled so that you can check on it at your leisure.
I sealed the threads with Hercules Thread & Gasket sealer because teflon tape is supposedly a no-no on diesel fuel lines. (this thread sealer was specifically for diesel fuel lines)
