Eventyr goes to Peru

While Eventyr was docked safely in Venezuela for the start of hurricane season, Dan and I did some inland travel to Peru. We spent a month traveling to Lima (the capital city), Islas Ballestas to see sea lions and Humboldt penguins, the sand dunes of Huacachina, and Arequipa where we took a four day hike into the Colca Canyon. From there we continued on to Cusco and Machu Picchu. With one week left, we headed to the jungle and took a trip down the Amazon River.
