Five Days on the Little Choptank River 06-09-10
Visibility Public
Our second "over-nighter" on the boat had plenty of "firsts". On the sail over weather deteriorated and we sailed close hauled into 35 - 40 knot winds with a highest gust of 47. Second night our holding tank leaked through. First trip on our new dinghy we were planing and hit a sandbar in 4" of water. Talk about stopping on a dime! Despite those "bad firsts" we had plenty of good ones and the trip was definitely memorable.
