Lee Boards & cockpit padeyes

We have installed a lee board on our IP 380, along the starboard settee, which we also did some years ago on our Cal. It makes for a secure berth, or makes for great, easily accessed stowage as well. If we were were rigging it for a possible rollover, I would add 2 more Wichard padeyes on the lee board, and 2 - 1" webbing padeyes mounted vertically between the back cushions, which would add 2 more straps.

We also added 2 of the largest Wichard padeyes in the cockpit on the companionway bulkhead, on the slanted areas forward of the coamings. These are for tether attachments for anyone seated on the high side of the cockpit, as a last attachment point before going forward, or as an attachment point for a snatch block to bring our hoisting gear line to a primary winch. They're backed wih huge backing plates and mounted on 1/2" starboard. The starboard will keep the hardware from banging into the fiber glass and adds another beffy layer of backing.
