We were always having problems with items sliding to the bottom in our lazarette, including us. Bill decided to add braces/spacers, large enough for 4 West Marine crates.

Notice the brace at the bottom of the picture. There are 2, one forward and this one aft.

The space is large enough for 4 milk crates from West Marine.

There is still ample room to put additional equipment.

We placed our extra life jackets in this area. There are still accessible when others come aboard.

We also put our trash can for dinghy flush & our oil changer kit, along with the extra lifejackets.

Forward of the crates is a space large enough keep the extra lg lifejackets. We have 12 jackets.

The space aft of the crates is large enough for additional crates or larger items.

Forward crates are for liquid and little used items.

Aft space holds wash & lookie buckets, extra anchor and dock lines.

Shelf at stern has Raymarine Autopilot.
