I have made the content on this site restricted to logged in members only at this time. I normally do not like this as it makes it a bit more complicated to easily access the wealth of information posted and archived here. With 17,800 shared photos and thousands of forum topics, and especially the ever building DOCUMENT library, this may be a better way to protect the archive. PS: Have you seen your IPY POLARS? If not, you really need to thank Niel Richards and go take a look in the DOC Library!
This website serves 20,000+ web pages a month and there are many people clicking and reading the content. The photo archive is always being accessed as well as the topics in the forum.
The custom Google Search engines I created really work well to help you locate exactly what you are looking for. These are linked up under the PHOTOS and FORUM menus.
I hope the site continues to serve you all well.
I am currently working with our UK programmer to make some upgrades and to solve some https:// security glitches with the photo archive. The albums will not pop up the photos in https:// We will solve this.
