A few selected photos of this summers three month cruise of the British Columbia coast with Kathy, David, Russel and Wilson Reed aboard svAndante, 350-17.

Stunning mountain views entire BC coast. Rounding Sarah Point entering Desolation Sound

I had competition for clam digging at several beaches.

Ebb tide at Roaring Hole. Best to enter at or near slack water.<br>

A good day crabbing - actually one of many like this.

An Osprey we watched for over an hour catching fish. Small one in talons now.

Wonderful reach across the Strait of Georgia. One of few sunny days first 7 weeks out.

Captain, Admiral, First and Second mates.(David, Kathy, Russel and Wilson)

One of many perfect anchorages.

As the fog lifted, we got a veiw of the aptly named Rainy Point in Tribune Channel.

David returning from a paddle. Russel is very sure footed but ended up wet 4 times.

We also sampled the local salmonids, this one a nice Coho. The freezer was full on return.

Perfect stern tie in Desolation. We swam here, and many other places, in 75deg water.

The sun finally came out mid July and stayed out until September.

Out of order wet hike to a lake on the central coast. Great swimming when warmer.

One of our favorite anchorages Ruxton Island in Gulf Islands as summer winds down.
