After closing on my new (used) IP350 - 54 "Bacchante" in Miami, 2 buddies and I made a quick 5-day trip up the Gulf Stream to its new home in Beaufort, NC. Now I can see the boat from the kitchen table... Does it get any better??

Waterspouts were forming in our path across Biscayne bay the morning of departure.

Waterspouts kept reforming - just ahead of us.

Gotta love that deep ocean blue... It just doesn't get any prettier.

Matt was the rookie but turned out to be a fast learner and I'd now take him along anytime.

This is me enjoying some nice broad reaching. Autopilot didn't work so we hand steered all 5 days.

Just follow the little line. Note the boat speed and speed over ground - nice tailwinds.

It's a Blue World. We put on a show for the cruise ship as we put the night reef in the main.
