We will once again move aboard for the summer and sail up to New England and also up to MAINE....beautiful MAINE. That is where we like to explore. We will attend the IP MAINE Rendezvous in July with many of you, and we also will revisit our favorite location of BLOCK ISLAND. Of course we will have to sail over to the mainland to WATCH HILL, RI where we love the little town and the wonderful beach. After spending the summer in New England, we will return to the Chesapeake Bay and take up life on SPA CREEK in ANNAPOLIS, MD for Sept and Oct. We hope to join the crew of WOODWIND and help out with that wonderful program in any way we can. Then after the boat shows, sail and power, we will join the fleet of yachts heading south on the ICW. We plan to make the ST. MARYS Thanksgiving rendezvous and then we will move down to VERO BEACH for a revisit and then we will blast down to the FLORIDA KEYS ASAP so we can make our first exploration there for Jan. We hope to spend time with CAPTN JIM in his HCC marina and we also plan to spend time at our friends' dock in KEY WEST. While in the lower keys we will make a run up the west coast of FLORIDA to FORT MYERS BEACH and the surrounding area. We will then come back around FLA for a prep to the BAHAMAS where we plan to make our first run to there later than most. We plan to explore the BAHAMAS in March and April when it is warmer and tends to have fewer cold fronts. After 2 months in the BAHAMAS we will make a springtime run north up the coast of the ICW returning to ROCK HALL, MD in JUNE. This will then complete a FULL YEAR of living aboard and knowing us, we will regroup and then head off for that favorite spot of ours, BLOCK ISLAND, RI for the summer. Radeen and I have retired and this will be our first year of cruising and our plan has always been to revisit the ICW and add in the KEYS and BAHAMAS. We call Rock Hall, MD home and we see ourselves always returning there as our home base.
