I have one last app to upgrade, that being the DIRECTORY. This app is 1.5 years old and is driven by three modules such as the Google Map mod, menu module, and latest map pin module plus the primary application of SOBI2. In preparation for this upgrade, I have reviewed the support docs at
www.sigsiu.net/ the creators of our directory app and I also have downloaded and re-installed a FULL IPYOA copy onto my home server to practice this upgrade. We have nearly 500 map pins in the directory and I do not want to lose this data, so I am working very slowly on this upgrade.
This is my last app that needs to be upgraded and then all apps will be current. YAHOOOOO...
Once all are current then I can focus on an upgrade to the site engine of JOOMLA. Overall, this project, IPYOA, is a very complex project, and it is built with the latest of technologies and securities. I am learning more everyday as I manage this site and I am amazed at how well it serves the membership.
