This forum, KUNENA software has just been updated to the latest version with the latest security patches. This NEW feature adds in a user polling aspect that will allow members to create online surveys and polls. Members will be allowed to only vote once and this should provide us a very powerful feature for anyone who wants to take a survey of the membership.
Enjoy the new forum, I still have a few configuration settings to refine, like the columns and rows of the child boards, but overall, this upgrade went very well. It only took 2.5 hrs. Why? Because first I backed up the site and rebuilt it onto a test server, then I installed the upgrade onto the test server to study, and check it out, then I chanced the upgrade onto this live site after it all worked well on the test site. So I ended up doing the upgrade 2 times or more....that's why.
It is all a learning curve, and it is all a labor of love. Love for IPs and the fleet of members, and love for learning web site design and management.
