Bluewater Clothespin Bag for sale

After years of using these great clothespin bags, my good friend, Dianne, has agreed to make them for sale. This bag is in its third design phase and we now think we have the perfect bag. I have sailed these bags from Maine to Florida and around the Abacos, and they have worked well.
A funny story is this ....version 1 had no way to hold the bags vertically and offshore, in a gale, the bags would do a 180, flit upside down, and dump the clothespins out! So, back to the drawing board. Then version 2 came along with grommets to keep them secured in a blow. This lead us to discover that the torrential rains of the southeast coast would fill up the bags with water and the clothespins would FLOAT out the top! So.....back to the drawing board for version 3. Now, version 3 includes a mesh bottom for drainage, keeping the bags empty of water. Very cool, but extra work in making each bag.
Now, after messing around with this idea for 3 years or more, I have convinced my good friend to make the bags for sale. Dianne added the Island Packet Yachts logo via her embroidery machine. We have obtained a legal license from the IPY factory to use the logo.

We place these on the lifelines at the cockpit exits, just aft of the gates. Then, when going forward to hang up a suit or towel, you can easily grab a clothespin on your way. When returning, you can drop the pins back into the bags. Great placement, great product, it works well!
