Yanmar 3JH2e Impeller Change

Here are the steps to change the impeller on a Yanmar 3JH2e. I prefer to unbolt the starter and get that out of the way, then I can use an impeller puller. In this photo essay, we had 3 broken blades and that requires the removal of the heat exchanger end cap where you will find the broken off impeller blades. Remeber to replace the end cap gasket. This job takes about 1 hour if all goes well.
