The original aluminum holding tank was replaced with a plastic tank which needs to be repaired or replaced. The plastic tank has a cap/valve which came loose. The tank may also have a leak. Do forum readers have suggestions for repair or where I can source a replacement tank?
Replacement tank for IP 40 can be had from DURA-WELD.com. They just shipped me a new plastic tank for my ‘96 IP 40. Have yet to install it. But so far it looks good and built to IP’s specs. Ask for Garett 561-586-0180.

We used Duraweld for IP380 replacement tank back in 2013. I had them go up in thickness (3/8" maybe) and weld inside and outside for durability. Slight increase in price but worth it to me. We hired a guy to do the install - beyond my pay grade.
