Hello:

I am currently considering the purchase of an IP40.  But, the plumbing of its heads does not seem to match the description in the IP literature.

"+ Two marine heads (Raritan@), with large seats and bowls, triple walled sanitation hose with direct overboard discharge for each head, bypass valves and holding tank
+ 30 gallon (U.S.) welded marine aluminum holding tank with sealed interior, deck pump out fitting"
Where would I find the Y bipass valves if they exist?
The owner claims that the heads drain into the holding tank which can be pumped out manually.  According to the above description this would not be the standard and I find it hard to believe anyone would replace the stock setup with a more inefficient system.
Where I sail (eastern, maritime Canada, & the Bahamas, etc) there are no pump stations so I need to have the ability to easily evacuate via Y valve bypasses.

Also, where is the holding tank located on an IP40 --- I was unable to find it.

Does anyone have a diagram of the IP40 stock plumbing system?

Thanks so much,  Philip & Sharon Merlier
