1/4 watermaker hose into 1/2 water hose tee

We are cutting a tee into our house water hose under the sink that is used by the hand pump. This will allow us to inject our 1/4" watermaker product water into the water tank. Yes, the hand pump has a pickup tube but the incoming water will inflow due to the vented tank and the introduction at 2-3 feet above the tank. The water hoses are 1/2" ID and they measure 3/4" OD. These simply nylon 1/2 hose barbs are threaded into the copper tee. The tee allows us to mate up a 1/4" compression hose fitting to accept the watermake product hose......UPDATE. I added a 90 degree elbow and a shut off. The job is now complete.
