Introducing Island Packet 380 PLAN SEA for sale in "Like-New" factory condition. Radeen and I shot over 800 photos of this quality yacht and we can honestly say that it is in mint condition. Jim and Loretta, the owners since 2003, have taken exceptional care of this 380. If you are on the market for an Island Packet 380, then please take a look at this one. Yes, I am the listing broker, but more importantly, Radeen and I are friends of the owners and we have sailed together in the Bahamas for several seasons. We know the condition of this yacht.

Every year the owners would wax and buff the hull twice a year. They steam cleaned the cushions every season. The cabin sole has been protected by the custom factory carpeting covers, which also were steam cleaned every year. Every locker is emptied and is pure white just like new. No mold or mildew anywhere. The aluminum factory holding tank, which always fails, has been replaced with a factory made fiberglass tank. All sewer hoses have been replaced with odor safe hoses. The bilges have zero odors.

We have over 150 photos published showing every aspect of this yacht. You can even see the propeller shaft in the spotless polished engine bilge. With 150+ photos, we can not hide anything.

Accommodations and Details
About this very nice Island Packet 380:

PLAN SEA.....imagine living aboard and cruising on this beautiful yacht!

Below deck you'll be impressed with the spacious open feeling. It may be hard to believe you have all this room, storage and comfort on a 38 foot sailboat.

The U-shaped galley is immediately to starboard and is easily accessible to the cockpit and main salon. It has a generous wrap around counter with ample work space, drawers, lockers and laminate lined cabinets. It features a three burner propane stove, microwave oven space (microwave was removed for more galley storage space), double stainless steel sinks, and refrigerator and freezer. Other special features include a slide out trash receptacle, fold-up counter extension, and built in teak dish storage area with teak cutlery drawers.

The salon is spacious for entertaining guests and comfortable for an intimate dinner for two. The central hinged table may be either secured against the bulkhead or easily lowered to make a large dining area, which easily seats 6 people for dinner. As with all Island Packets, there is an exceptional amount of storage space below and behind the settee sofas. The settee sofa upholstery has been removed and steam cleaned every single year, keeping Plan Sea in factory new condition. Both settees are full length for added sleeping area with the port side pulling out to make a nice double berth. The cabinetry is beautiful teak with an oiled finish. The 22 lighting fixtures, most are LEDs, and handrails throughout the cabin are all well placed. Entertainment features include a Sony stereo system matched to two Bose speakers in the salon and two Bose speakers in the cockpit.

The hinged top nav desk is at the aft end of the port side salon settee. You'll find a deluxe, well-labeled electrical panel for all 120 volt AC & 12 volt DC functions and all other breakers. An additional electrical panel has been added and provides extra breakers for future installs. A chart drawer large enough for bound chart packs is provided underneath the settee. There is a handy drawer for navigation tools next to the nav desk top.

The forward owner's cabin has a large center-line island V-berth with access from both sides. The island berth has a 7 1/2" Mariner Deluxe custom mattress by Handcraft Mattress Company with custom innerspring, 2008. The aft end of the berth is mounted on gas support struts and lifts up to reveal a large storage area under the berth. Drawers, storage bins, and a generous cedar-lined locker with shelves provide liveaboard clothing storage. The cabin has a private door to access the head. The teak and holly floor is in factory new condition and includes the Island Packet factory carpet option.

The head is generous in size and can be accessed from the forward cabin or the main salon. It features a nice-sized vanity with cabinet below and a deep polished oval stainless steel sink. It has a large overhead hatch, opening port, and several lockers for toiletry items. It also features a full length mirror and a second half mirror on the opposite bulkhead. For showering, there is a fold-down teak seat and plenty of room for standing in this spacious shower area. It is made even more spacious with a clever folding shower stall enclosure that stows against the bulkhead when not in use.

The aft cabin features a large pullman style athwartship bunk with 5" foam cushions and a special built-in hideaway sink. It also features a full length mirror and ample storage with a roomy cedar-lined hanging locker and several teak storage bins. The teak and holly floor is in beautiful condition due to the custom factory carpet kit.
