Why do you think the reduced exhaust size caused the engine failure.
Sounds like the blocked oil passage was the real problem,
and perhaps the exhaust size is a red herring...
Any news?

Hi hank, this is not directly related to your question, but I noticed you mentioned hiring a mechanic. If you are new to Diesel engines give this book a read. You can finish it in a weekend and will be amazed at how much you learn.whf wrote: Thanks, Hayden... will follow your advice.
