Cheetah Muir Windlass replacement

Seems like when on item goes, the others follow suite...
On our Calypso, an IP 485, we just had to replace it's bow thruster due to galvanic corrosion (still tracking those stray
and mean electrons). During further inspection, we discovered that our windlass a Muir Cheetah, which looked like it
had some paint blisters on the surface was in even worse shape on the inside. Well, it definitely needs replacement (ok,
after 12 years...total state of corrosion inside) but since I have seen other IP 485's with their Muir windlass in a similar
state, I now plan for a different model.
Hayden expressed his positive experience with the Lofrans Tigress (too small for our 13mm chain) so I would opt for
the Lofrans Falcon. Or.... I have a good offer here in Europe for a Maxwell 3500 HWC, but it seems very big and I wonder
if there would be enough space to install it on our boat.
