Warning: USCG renewal SPAM / Scam

We have been made aware of a mailing that is a scam / spam USCG doc mailing that boat owners are receiving and you need to not fall for this trap. It looks like it is from the USCG and that you need to renew your ships registration. They ask you to call or email or go to their web site and pay them money and they will renew your boat registration. It even sounds and looks very official.

IT IS a scam / SPAM....IT IS NOT LEGIT, but it is a business..... Look at these scans below. Notice this address is NOT dot GOV, it is dot US. The USCG does not use this URL. IT IS A SCAM... Grant it, it is a business and they are just using the USCG public published data, but you do not need to pay a company to help you renew your USCG docs, just go to the official web site at www.uscg.mil/nvdc/
