Enjoyed the exterior teak refinishing poll. Also this would be a great time to do something I've been wanting to do for many months - Thank Hayden for producing such a valuable site - A wealth of info that I'm sure required/s a great deal of time. Thanks Captain.

Back to the topic - The teak refinishing poll got me thinking about interior teak. I am interested in what IP owners use for cleaning the abundant interior teak below deck (shelving, trim, doors, etc). I've searched for this topic with no success; however, if it is posted elsewhere please provide a link and my apologies.

I have no need for refinishing any of the teak below deck, just interested in what IP owners seem to think works the best on cleaning the teak/spiffing up down below without producing any harmful build-up on the teak.

Hi Mark,
I replaced the holding tank in my IP40-71 last year. I used a source in Fla. and was very satisfied. I agree that surveyors should know about aluminum holding tanks and warn buyers. If you have other questions I would be glad to help. You can contact me directly at svmato@yahoo.com

Hello All,

That was my next question. Transiting from Little Harbor to the Exumas? Right now our thought is to depart Little Harbor and arrive at the souhtwest end of Royal Island chain off the northwest end of Eluethera Island and then proceed northeast into the Royal Island Harbor area. After that it looks like we could proceed south past the end of Current Island and Six Shilling Cay and then cut through Flemming Channel transiting from there to? Any suggestions will be most appreciated.

I couldn't find the Bahamas topic of the past (1-3 years ago)in which you offered to e-mail a copy of the log of your Abacos travels to "Mike". Doing our planning for a 2012 excursion there and maybe the Eluethera Islands. A copy of this trip log and any Eluethera travels would be helpful toward preparing a cruise plan. Yes, that is how it is attached. I have thought of adding a swaged stainless cable in the area of each attachment fitting that would go around the aluminum bar and the Kato Davit solar panel support bar if we were to go offshore.
