1991 Island Packet 35
“Serenity” IP-35 #114
Asking $134,500
We bought Serenity in 2004 from a meticulous owner who used her very lightly. We spent the next six years upgrading and outfitting her to make a voyage out the St. Lawrence to Florida and the Bahamas that did not take place. Although she has never shown evidence of blisters, in 2009 we took advantage of a lull in the economy and we had a heavy coat of Vinyl Ester applied below the water line and the entire hull faired by a professional boatyard specializing in Fiberglass and hull work. In the process, all of the old VC -17 freshwater paint was removed and she was repainted with two coasts of Micron 33 in preparation for her trip to saltwater. This is the same yard that has worked on her systems for the past 7 years and the same yard we store indoors with every year.
She is currently on the hard in the Cleveland area (inside a storage facility) and has yet to see salt water.
